The Bill 03:03
Did I do everything you want? If everyone means nothing Then anyone means nothing Did I say anything so wrong? If everyone is perfect Then everything is wrong If I could help you, I'd really/would do it (I'd really do it) If I could help you, I'd really do it (I'd really do it) I'd pay for the bills, I'd cook your meals (I'd) take care of your kids, take them to the beach Nothing's forever, nothing's for free Nothing's forever, you always pay for the bill

Six by Six 03:56
In the sunshine of every morning is born, we could leave this world together On the waves of the sea, we just come, we just go, we stay here forever Anyone could see what was happening, but we’re over and over All this time we’ve tried to be, all this time we have pretended, now we’ll fill it together… We could be what you want, keep me in your sight We could go where you want, bring me by your side.

Like a Waltz 03:59
You need someone Someone by your side You need someone You're this thing that I need to sing I need someone This guitar with the old six strings I need someone Listening to the rain like a waltz Looking at the traffic, listening to something new You're this thing that I need to sing I need someone This guitar with the old six strings I need someone 'cos you will never know what it means 'cos you will never know what I mean I don't want comfort I want poetry and danger, freedom and goodness I want to sin. if I knew how to stop the clock, I'd do it if I knew how to stop the clock 'cos you will never know, what it means 'cos you will never know, what I mean.

Please answer my questions, there's nothing to hide No time to complain, no time to fall apart, no time to stay around Day after day, the distance is too far, call me when you are back, when you have any doubt, when you think that's the time If you ever loved me (let me know it) Now it's the moment to think what we did, to think what we felt. Cos it's late in the morning and the past will never be back If you ever loved me (let me know it)

about

With the electronic drumroll of “The Bill” the sun comes out. Choruses bursting with vitamins, melodies that fill your being, arrangement that put a smile on your face. Finally, perfect pop is like an orange juice. Then comes “Six By Six” and you discover just how much you miss songs with several voices. Maybe it has been three years (since the last release by Lost Tapes, to be precise) since you last heard such a refined harmony. Pau Roca and Rj Sinclair are the go-betweens that will connect you and total happiness in song format. More serotonin: in the crystalline jangle-pop of “Like a Waltz” (with lyrics inspired by Leonard Cohen himself) happy bats circle. A shiver that comforts. By the time you reach the last track of this EP that precedes the new album buy this duo, you have set up Lost Tapes’ teenage fan club. You need to tell them that you love them. Send them that love letter. A farewell in the key of bedroom pop that goes beyond labels: this is pure pop
